Braun 7040-127 Sonic 2 Speed Power Handle Review

I bought a Sonic Complete toothbrush about 3 or 4 years ago. It came with a charging stand and travel case, and I must say it's been a very good purchase as it has radically improved the health of my teeth and gums.

I had noticed over the last few months that the battery wasn't holding a charge like it used to, and unfortunately, the battery isn't replaceable. I didn't need another charger or travel case, which was included in the retail package, and besides, it was expensive. If this describes your situation too, you are looking at the solution.

It is the exact same toothbrush as in the retail package, except it is a 2-speed (med, high) instead of the original 3-speed (low, med, high). Everyone in my family only uses the High setting anyway, so this isn't an issue for us. I doubt that many people have found a use for the Low setting. The package only contains a toothbrush (handle) - no charger, travel case, or replacement brushes - and it's much cheaper than buying the whole thing all over again.
