I am a guy, in his late 30's, heavy (I mean HEAVY) beard growth. By the time it hits noon, dry or wetshave, the shade starts to slowly show.
To make matters worse, I suffer from THE most sensitive skin.
I tried everything, from upgrading my foam to ultraglide superconductor foam for inflamed skin (by Gilette) to going from 2 blades to 3 blades to 4 blades-with-lubra-wd40-strips. You get the point.
Over the years I learned that the very best thing to do for me was to actually do a wet shave under the steamy shower: brush my teeth while I soak under the shower and then after 2.5 minutes of brushing teeth my skin would well prepped to take sensitive skin foam and I could shave infront of my precious fog-free shower mirror.
However, gradually, as the week passed the skin around my neck would get increasingly irritated from the combination of wet shaving and stiff shirt collars and ties which I must wear for work. So I ended up NOT shaving on saturdays and sundays just to start the gradual irritation cycle all over onMonday morning. Much to wifey's dismay as she complained about my homeless look and expressed a deep desire not to be kissed by cactus-face Rick.
Anyways, call this facial viagra, or my salvation: I found the Panasonic ES8109 (also on Amazon). A wet(!!!!) and dry shaver that would supposedly not get my skin irritated and I could use it immersed in water.
I tried it and LOVED it. Read my Amazon review of it elsewhere. It takes about 2 to 3 weeks to get used to but once you have got it down, being a shower shaver like myself, you will find it competes with the best of the Mach III or IV or Final Episode... the thing works.
And instead of using foam with it I found that spraying on Lectric Shave with a little 1$ spray bottle COMPLETELY removed any irritation.
Also, my shave would hold as long as the manual shave did and in the end this turned out much cheaper...

When I travelled for work I now wanted to have my ES8109 with me and did so a few times but it really is not a travelling shaver. It was too heavy/bulky and I needed to unplug power cables etc. and sometimes the button would get accidentally pressed and my shaver would be empty. Anyhoo, not a good travelling companion.
I knew I wanted a wet/dry electric and I already knew the more expensive 8109 workes magic. So I bounght this one, on a whim, during a sale.
When I use it with Lectric Shave in the shower it does a great job of getting me de-stubbled. It is really good and certainly not a 10$ shaver: the shave is smooth and the blades are sharp and seem to stay sharp.
All 3 Panasonic Traveling wet / dry battery shavers use the same head and replacement parts. The white one, though, has a trimmer (don't need that on a trip!) and the bigger black one is rechargable. But they have the same shaving hardware. I wanted one where I could rreplace / bring batteries separate and did not need a trimmer. I also did not want to carry any extra cables.
Conclusion
I guess I talk too much (its getting late here). The shaver is great travel value. Buy this as a companion to the best electric wet shaver I could recommend , the ES8109 (for an electric best dry shave go for the Braun) but again: you have to be a shower-shaver with extra sensitive skin and heavy beard growth to appreciate my recommendation.

Definitely a great brush, you just have to try. I was skeptical, but after trying one I can feel the difference.
My order of 3 cutters and six foil assemblies for a Braun razor was received today in unacceptable packaging, a soft 10x13 envelope with totally loose items enclosed with no rigid or boxed protection. The foil assemblies were loose, unprotected and mixed with loose cutters, all jumbled together.
I bought it to replace the stand I had, which fell apart. But had use my dremel tool sander to reshape the stub which goes in the bottom of the brush because it is a different shape than the original.
Very good quality ear thermometer. Solid build, and very easy to use. Also very fast (3-5 seconds) which is a huge plus over traditional oral or lesser quality ear units which may take up to a minute or longer. Keep in mind that you must use the replaceable plastic probe covers, the unit ships with 20 of them in the box and extras cost about $20 for 200 more. 
Didn't think I could find replacement parts for such a dated Shaver.When I drop my aging Braun, I didn't realize that the plastic frame for the screen was cracked.Next shave cut me up pretty good.Nice not to have to buy a new shaver. Thanks
I glad that Amazon.com has this, as the shaver is getting quite old. It still works great as long as I can get the Foil and Cutter Blade for it. Amazon.com to the rescue!
I ordered this razor and it was well worth the price, I find that this is the only type of electric razor that does a perfect job of shaving the neck (I dont know why).

My shaver became intermittent after 40 years. Took it apart and everything looked fine - very solidly built - so concluded it was the cord. This cord did the trick - hope it lasts another 40 years!
I bought this charger, and it won't fit either of two Braun electric toothbrushes my wife and I own, although they were bought a different times.Be careful to check the model number and compare it with the list that's given in one line of the description so that you don't waste twenty bucks as I did.
I've had three Panasonic shavers.The first one had two cutter heads, cost $40 and was satisfactory. When Panasonic came out with a three head model for $80 I thought it would be better -- and it was.I really liked it but I dropped it and it broke.By then they had introduced their new "Vortex" super duper shaver which I paid $140 for and expected it would be even better than the predecessors.That was a mistake.
I bought Braun Series 7- 790cc Pulsonic Shaver on May, 2008 so it has been just over 2 years and I've been noticing the cleaning function of the base unit to slightly decrease lately.Finally in the last few days, when I pick up the shaver from the charge unit to use, it's soggy and all wet.It seems the dry function is not working at all.I peeked inside the unit where shaver's head goes in, it's flooded with the cleaning solution.To me, this is unacceptable.The base unit should last much longer than 2 years.I bought new base unit and all problems I've been having went away.So guys be aware, in addition to buying cleaning solution and shave foil, the base unit also has to be replaced every 2 years.This shaver may work great but is it worth it to spend this much to shave?I am pissed...
I was kind of skeptical about this polisher heads for Oral B Toothbrushes when I got it together with the Triumph. To put it simply: it works! It actually makes your teeth shine (I guess the results might also depend on the type of tooth paste you use. In my case I use Colgate Total). But since it doesn't have as many bristles as other regular brush heads, I only use it only once a day for polishing purposes and not so much for cleaning (for that I recommend OralB FlossAction heads.
I purchased this ThermoScan as a gift, however, I bought my first one when my son was born almost 15 years ago, and we are still using it.Never had any problems with it, and the whole family uses it.Highly recommended.
I have used Braun shavers for the last 40 years and would not trade for any other.Never failed me once. The reason I am buying this one is because
3 years ago I purchased the Braun 5710 shaver and am still happy with it to date.Recently I purchased the conditioner refill pack to find that the discounted price, though appealing, was an obvious ploy to sell old stock.I found the product to be junk and unuseable and recommend not to be purchased.My personal rating is NO stars.
I've been pleased with the performance of this razor. I did have another Braun years ago too; but this one works even better. It leaves no rash on my skin. I use the various functions from trimming hair, eye brows to the regular skin shave process which does work well yet takes a little time to develop the skill to cut all the stubble efficiently. It does not take me long to shave with this electric rechargeable razor. I have used it for less than a year daily without any trouble. It is not heavy yet has a good feel to it; solid.

The 3000 series isn't what it's cracked up to be. It doesn't fit the 3825 Braun razor I have, although the online ad indicated it would. Worse, after opening it to check I'm told it can't be returned. Totally useless and frustrating purchase.
I have used the original Epilady and the Braun Silk Epil before purchasing this item at Bed, Bath & Beyond.I was not impressed at all with the Braun Silk Epil, so I was a little skeptical about this newer version.Boy, all I can tell you is WOW!This item has two heads, one for someone just starting out or who cannot take too much pain, and a more advanced head for us old-timers.After using the advanced head my legs are practically FREE OF HAIRS!This NEVER happened with the Silk Epil.So strong and fast, it's a pleasure to use.I hold it in the same regard as the original Epilady as far as performance goes.For comfort and ease of use the Xelle far outshines any epilator I've used.I highly recommend this item to anyone who prefers to go a week or so w/out shaving.
My family bought me this shaver as a present, because they knew I was looking for a new one, to replace my old Norelco 5885XL and Philips 5615, that offers you a "wet shaving", but not close enough.
I bought a Sonic Complete toothbrush about 3 or 4 years ago. It came with a charging stand and travel case, and I must say it's been a very good purchase as it has radically improved the health of my teeth and gums.
I replaced a Norelco rotary shaver with the Braun.I liked the idea of a shaver being cleaned, sanitized and charged after each shave so I bought the Braun.So far, it shaves much closer than my Norelco.The shaver is not quite as "mobile" as the Norelco due to its shape and it is noisier than my Norelco, but it is comfortable on my face and does a good job.The cleaning system works well but is also noisy for about 5 minutes.You do have to replace the cleaning fluid cartridge after every so many cleanings, but that doesn't entail a lot of money.All in all, I like the shaver and would buy it again.I do use a pre-shaving fluid on my face and it seems to help with the closeness of the shave.
I have been using this shaver for about a year and it wasn't giving me a very close shave.My father recommended that I try Williams Lectric Shave.I don't know what that stuff does, but I now get a shave almost as smooth as a blade.
Over the past twenty years I have owned at least 6 Braun electric razors. All past Braun razors worked fine so I had the expectation that the recently purchased Braun razor would be satisfactory -- but it is not! Either I got a lemon or Braun has lowered its manufacturing standards on their lower priced electric razors.
This is my replacement brush for my old Oral-B Triumph, which is basically the same model but named differently for Asian market. It died after 4+ years of use. I bought this twin pack because it's cheaper than the normal single one, and since my old charger still works, then practically now I have 2 sets of these :)
this product seems to work well enough so far, but (i)braun charges too much, (ii)has(A)too many models with (B)too many confusing/confused--I think deliberately--names, (C) confusing, ambiguous differences and distinctions (D) all set forth crypticly at best (E) in three languages written by non-natives, (F)so that it's very difficult to tell what you're getting, (G)It's even more difficult to find replacement brushheads for your particular product and, to repeat, (H) WORST, THE HIGH END MODEL I BOUGHT DOESN'T WORK ANY BETTER THAN CHEAPER COMPETITIVE PRODUCTS AND SIMPLY ISN'T WORTH THE PRICE.
The Thermoscan brand filters come in a little box that fits into my Thermoscan case. It's so easy and convenient to use. The filters fit my Thermoscan with ease. I have no problems.
Easy to use and seems to be accurate (compared to Doc's office).I've been using this monitor several times daily, no problems and the original batteries are still working fine.
